Inside the workshop

Our process

At Lithiumworkx, every battery goes through a structured process of Source, Inspect, Test, Grade, Refurbish/Repurpose and Deploy. We begin by identifying suitable battery assets, followed by physical inspection and technical screening. Each battery is then tested for key performance parameters such as capacity, voltage and internal resistance before being graded according to its actual condition and application suitability. Suitable batteries are refurbished into practical battery systems or repurposed for second-life energy applications, allowing recovered battery capacity to return to useful B2B applications.

The circular loop

From recovered pack to new pack

Four steps close the loop — nothing usable leaves the cycle. Each stage feeds the next, turning retired batteries back into dependable energy.

    Sourcing

    Retired packs and surplus cells are collected from EV fleets, manufacturers and industrial partners.

    Dismantling

    Packs are safely discharged and stripped down — modules, wiring, BMS and casing separated by hand.

    Cell segregation

    Every cell is tested for capacity, voltage and internal resistance, then graded and matched into batches.
